Adolfo Fernández Rodríguez discovered photography at a young age, already with a clear professional intention. Since then, his dedication to the craft has been both exclusive and unwavering.
After moving to Barcelona, he focused on architecture and interior design photography, developing a distinctive style that blends technical precision with artistic sensitivity. His work has been widely published in international industry magazines, particularly in Spain. For more than 20 years, Adolfo has been a regular contributor to El Mueble magazine (RBA Revistas), where his images appear monthly.
His unique visual sensitivity and refined approach have earned him recognition from institutions, companies, and design professionals alike.
Following many productive years in Barcelona, Adolfo spent over a decade working in Toronto, Canada. After those rich years, he moved back to his hometown of Gijón, Spain.
In addition to his professional practice, Adolfo is developing a residency–workshop–laboratory in northern Spain dedicated to film photographers and cinematographers. The project aims to foster the revival of traditional photography and provide a space for sharing knowledge, creativity, and experience.
